Zusammenfassung

Loenbro is seeking a Tool Coordinator to manage tools, supplies, and related processes in our Colorado operations. You will oversee check-in/check-out, calibrations, and procurement activities to keep projects on schedule.

This role requires strong record keeping, familiarity with Excel and SAP, and the ability to coordinate with the Regional Tool Manager. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs are essential.

• Meticulous record keeping to prevent loss and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• High school diploma or GED is standard; vocational training in electrical trades or inventory management is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for site deliveries; forklift certification may be necessary.
• Ability to inspect, measure, and evaluate tools for wear.
• Ability to repair certain tools if appropriate.
• Ability to sharpen bits and tools is a plus.
• Basic Math skills.
• Work with Regional Tool Manager and assist other staff with duties as assigned.

Aufgaben

• Manage the check-in/check-out process for tools using barcode systems or inventory software to maintain accountability.
• Inspect returned tools for damage, wear, or safety hazards; tag and remove defective equipment from service to meet OSHA safety standards.
• Coordinate the logistics for the transfer, delivery, and return of tools to and from job sites.
• Ensure the tool crib/room is a safe environment in line with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Assist with purchases of tools and accessories with Regional Tool Manager.
• Manage inventory and allocation of consumable tools, equipment, fixtures, etc.
• Prepare job boxes for upcoming orders.
• Research quotes for expensive purchases that need approval.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on tools and calibrate measuring equipment.
• Help coordinate outside service technicians for tool maintenance and repairs.
• Keep tools clean and organized; maintain a logical storage system.
• Maintain records and provide reports on purchases, costs, and expenditures.
• Maintain receipts, invoices, and documentation for accounting.
• Assist with calibration of basic measuring tools.
• Help keep the shop or warehouse clean and organized.
• Assist with deburring parts as needed.
