The College of Science and Technology at Temple University seeks a full-time skilled machinist for its Research and Technical Support Facility. The role involves fabricating custom parts, modifying apparatus for research and instruction, interpreting drawings, suggesting fabrication techniques, and managing work of others.
At least five years of experience operating and maintaining machine shop equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with TIG welding of stainless steel and MIG welding of aluminum.
