Job description

Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Work for a Manufacturer in Middlesex County as a Tool and Die Maker

Essential Job Functions:

1. Perform operations common to the toolmaker trade.
2. Work from blueprints, specifications, and diagrams.
3. Provide and assist in training workforce in proper setup and use of equipment/systems.
4. Perform work in a safe manner, keeping tool room equipment clean and in safe working condition.
5. Set up and operate all tool room machinery, such as grinders, mills, drills, lathes.
6. Construct precision parts for replacement on machines.
7. Make minor repairs to machines.
8. May be assigned additional duties and/or special fixture projects.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or trade school and 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with machines to make tooling, using manual mills, lathes, drill press, band saw, and hand grinder.
• Proficiently operate all common machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and grinders.
