Job summary

Okanogan County Child Development Association (OCCDA) is hiring a Bus Driver/Custodian for Tonasket Early Head Start. The role transports children ages 2-3 to and from the center and may cover in classroom as needed.

You will provide safe bus transportation, cooperate with teachers to support health and education, and perform custodial duties including cleaning and sanitizing. 20 hours per week, 41 weeks per year, wage $24.95 per hour, with regular PD and a $1,000 signing bonus.

• Valid WA State Class C CDL with a school bus and passenger endorsement

• Provide safe bus transportation for children and ensure pickups and drop-offs are on schedule.
• Cooperate with teachers to promote health and education and maintain written communication between families and centers.

About the position:

Bus Driver/Custodian position will transport children to and from our center (ages 2-3)and may cover in classroom as needed. The Bus Driver provides safe bus transportation for children, assuring that each child is picked up and delivered on schedule. Cooperate with teachers to promote the health and education of each child and to work with center staff to assure a smooth flow of written communication between families and centers. Custodian duties will include centre and classroom cleaning and santizing.

Education and Experience:

• Valid WA State Class C CDL with a school bus and passenger endorsement

Details:

• 20hrs/wk
• 41Weeks per year (one week off at spring break and two at winter break with eight weeksoff during summer)
