Job summary

OCCDA seeks a Bus Driver/Custodian for Oroville Head Start/Early Head Start. The role transports children aged 3-5 to and from the center and may cover in-classroom duties. You will ensure safe bus transportation, assist teachers, and support communications with families.

The position requires a WA State Class C CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement, 20 hours per week, 43 weeks per year, and offers a $24.95/hour wage plus benefits and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience transporting children safely and maintaining schedules is expected.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to and from the center (ages 3-5) safely and on schedule.

About the position: Bus Driver/Custodian position will transport children to and from our center (ages 3-5)and may cover in classroom as needed. The Bus Driver provides safe bus transportation for children, assuring that each child is picked up and delivered on schedule. Cooperate with teachers to promote the health and education of each child and to work with center staff to assure a smooth flow of written communication between families and centers. Custodian duties include center and classroom cleaning and santizing at the Early Head Start building.

Education and Experience:

• Valid WA State Class C CDL with a school bus and passenger endorsement

Details:

• 20hrs/week
• 43Weeks per year (one week off at spring break and two at winter break with six weeks off during summer)
