Job summary

SICE is seeking a Tolling Technician to support toll collection and ITS infrastructure. This role blends fieldwork with office duties, diagnostics, reporting, and coordination with vendors to ensure high availability and precision in toll operations.

The technician will install and maintain AVI/AVC systems, cameras, readers, and communication devices, while analyzing performance data and creating SOPs for maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tolling system operations or ITS integration.
• 3+ years of field and office support experience.
• Associate degree or higher in electronics or ITS.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain tolling equipment (AVI/AVC, cameras, sensors, readers).
• Perform scheduled maintenance and on-site repairs of field components.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communications issues on-site.
• Document fieldwork and maintain equipment inventory.
• Analyze toll system performance data and generate reports on uptime and system health.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and IT for firmware upgrades and project work.
