Job summary

I-66 Express Mobility Partners is seeking a Field Systems Technician Trainer to develop and deliver technical training for Toll Collection Systems, ITS, and Network Communication Systems. The role also requires hands-on field support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with field outages and testing.

The Trainer will create manuals and guides, onboard new technicians, and provide on-site coaching while reinforcing safe work practices and standardized procedures across field operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, technical certification, or instructor/trainer certification preferred.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in field support, IT, tolling systems, ITS, network communications, or fiber optic work.
• Prior experience training, mentoring, coaching, or instructing technical staff strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows; familiarity with Linux preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LMS/e-learning tools and digital training records.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and deliver technical training for Field Systems Technicians, including classroom and hands-on methods.
• Create and maintain manuals, SOPs, guides, checklists, and equipment documents.
• Train technicians on installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting for TCS, ITS, NCS, and related field equipment.
• Provide instruction on lane controllers, RFID systems, CCTV, power, routers, cabling, and testing equipment.
• Document training records, certifications, attendance, and LMS entries; ensure compliance.
