Job summary

Celebree School in Alabama is seeking a Toddler/Twos Teacher to shape early development through a nurturing, developmentally appropriate program for infants and toddlers. You will guide daily learning experiences and help other classroom aides grow in early childhood education with confidence and compassion.

The role emphasizes compliance with regulations, collaborative teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment for families. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Lead teacher requirements must be approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate daily activities with infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they take first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with Office of Child Care regulations and company standards.
• Provide a welcoming classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Create and implement age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans aligned with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
• The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
