Job summary

Community Concepts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Toddler Teacher for the Early Head Start Classroom at the Norway Early Learning Center in Norway, ME. The role is 40 hours per week, year-round, with an anticipated Fall 2026 start; compensation is hourly and determined by education and experience.

Starting pay is $18.42–$19.42 per hour, with a state supplement program potentially adding $240–$540 monthly. Benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, and a 403(b) plan with agency match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; agency-paid CDA credential or college coursework toward an Associate within two years.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Teacher and contribute to high-quality toddler programming.
• Plan activities and tailor curriculum to meet children’s social, emotional, physical, literacy, and cognitive development.
• Communicate with and support families to meet children’s and families’ needs.
