Job summary

Community Concepts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher for our Early Head Start classroom in Norway, ME.

The role involves leading a high-quality toddler classroom, planning activities, tailoring curriculum to support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and engaging families. The position is full-time, year-round, 40 hours per week, with a competitive hourly salary of 20.76–22.51 and eligibility for state wage supplements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Child Development Associate credential required.
• Associate degree (related) preferred.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in early care and education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-quality, nurturing toddler classroom team.
• Plan activities and tailor curriculum to support social, emotional, physical, literacy, and cognitive development.
• Communicate with and support families to meet children’s and families’ needs.
• Work with management to maintain Head Start Performance Standards and Licensing requirements.
