Community Concepts, Inc. in Bethel, ME is seeking an experienced Infant Toddler Teacher for our Early Head Start Classroom. The role is 40 hours per week, year-round, with an anticipated start in Fall 2026, working with a teaching team under a Lead Teacher.

Starting pay ranges from $18.42 to $19.42 per hour, with eligibility for the Maine salary supplement program. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, disability, PTO, holidays, a 403(b) match, and opportunities for paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required, with a commitment to complete an agency-paid Child Development Associate credential program or enroll in approved college coursework leading to an Associate within two years of hire
• Associate’s degree is preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Teacher and contribute to high-quality infant and toddler programming
• Planning activities and tailoring curriculum to meet children’s social, emotional, physical, literacy, and cognitive development
• Communicating with and supporting families in meeting their children’s and families’ needs

We are seeking an experienced, energeticInfant Toddler Teacher for our Early Head Start Classroom at ourSharon’s Place Early Learning Center located in Bethel. An Infant Toddler Teacher is part of a teaching team, under the direction of a Lead Teacher. This position is 40 hours and year-round. Position anticipated to start in Fall 2026.

• Starting Pay Range: $18.42-$19.42/hour depending on education and experience
• This position iscurrentlyeligible for anadditionalmonthly wage supplement through the State of Maine Early Childhood Educator Workforce Salary Supplement Program. The tiered supplements are currently in payments of $240, $360, or $540monthly. Visitmaine.gov/dhhs for more information.

Qualifications:

Other Requirements:Experience in an early childhood setting; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team; excellent communication skills; considerable stamina to regularly lift, bend, carry, and perform other high-energy activities; competency with Microsoft Office; ability to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications. Pre-employment physical, SBI, DMV, Maine and Federal Sex Offender Registry, DHHS fingerprinting, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
