Job summary

Primrose School of West McDonough is seeking a Toddler Teacher. No nights or weekends required; no prior experience necessary. You will nurture toddlers, implement prepared lesson plans, and build strong relationships with families while using our digital learning platform.

Requirements include a background check, and CPR/First Aid certification within 45 days. Education options include a CDA, an Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, or related training.

Qualifications

• Must pass a satisfactory comprehensive background check (including fingerprinting).
• Must obtain current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification within 45 days of employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a satisfactory comprehensive background check (including fingerprinting) before working with children
• Must complete Georgia's 10-hour DECAL-required health and safety training (completed during onboarding if hired — no action needed to apply)
• Must complete the state-required pre-service orientation before working alone with children
• Must obtain current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification within the first 45 days of employment (we help schedule this during your two weeks of onboarding)
• Must complete ongoing annual training hours as required by the state
• Must provide documentation of good physical and mental health to safely care for children
• One of the following is preferred: a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, a Technical College Certificate in ECE, or equivalent education and experience
• Experience working with young children is strongly preferred, ideally with toddlers
• If Seeking Career Switchers: no prior experience required — training will be provided

Salary Range: $14.00–$18.00 per hour

Shift Schedule: Various shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; exact shift assigned once hired.
