Job summary

Primrose School of West McDonough is seeking an Early Preschool Teacher. You will create a nurturing classroom and deliver the Balanced Learning curriculum via our digital platform, building trusted relationships with families.

No prior experience is required, and you’ll be supported by an on-site leadership team. The role offers competitive pay, advancement opportunities, ongoing training, and varied shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check including fingerprinting.
• GA DECAL 10-hour health & safety training during onboarding.
• State pre-service orientation before working alone.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 45 days of employment.
• Ongoing annual training hours as required by the state.
• Good physical and mental health documentation.
• Preferred: CDA or ECE degree or related credential.
• Experience with young children preferred; training provided for career switchers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a satisfactory comprehensive background check (including fingerprinting) before working with children
• Must complete Georgia's 10-hour DECAL-required health and safety training (completed during onboarding if hired — no action needed to apply)
• Must complete the state-required pre-service orientation before working alone with children
• Must obtain current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification within the first 45 days of employment (we help schedule this during your two weeks of onboarding)
• Must complete ongoing annual training hours as required by the state
• Must provide documentation of good physical and mental health to safely care for children
• One of the following is preferred: a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, a Technical College Certificate in ECE, or equivalent education and experience
• Experience working with young children is strongly preferred, ideally in a preschool or pathways classroom
• If Seeking Career Switchers: no prior experience required — training will be provided
