Job summary

The Learning Experience #477 in Canton, OH is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to nurture children aged 1–3 in a brand new center. You will foster a safe, playful learning environment, implement the L.E.A.P.

Curriculum, and collaborate with families to support each child’s academic and emotional growth. Starting pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour based on experience and education, with benefits including health insurance, PTO, dental and vision coverage, and professional development

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching/daycare experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for toddlers to learn, play and grow.
• Implement routines and developmentally appropriate activities.

Associate degree in ECE or related field

As an Experienced Toddler Teacher, you will:

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Partner with the daycare center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals to support your center's success.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Do You:

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children (required)?
• Have one year of professional teaching / daycare experience (required)?
• Have an associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required)?
