Job summary

The Learning Experience – Newark, DE is seeking a caring Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our energetic toddler classroom. You will foster independence, language, and social-emotional growth through play-based learning and family partnerships.

In this role you will mentor Assistant Teachers, maintain a structured, safe classroom, and ensure every child receives high-quality care and education in a supportive, joyful environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Delaware TECE I and TECE II credentials.
• Experience leading a toddler classroom preferred.
• Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily activities and routines for the toddler classroom.
• Implement developmentally appropriate lessons using the LEAP Curriculum.
• Foster children's language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Create a safe, engaging, and organized classroom environment.
• Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Build strong relationships with children and families through ongoing communication.
• Maintain compliance with Delaware licensing regulations and center policies.

The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our energetic toddler classroom. This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys helping young children build independence, language, and social-emotional skills through engaging, play-based learning experiences.

As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you'll create a structured, nurturing classroom while partnering with families and mentoring Assistant Teachers to ensure every child receives exceptional care and education.

• Foster children's language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
