The Learning Experience O-Town West is hiring a Toddler Teacher to nurture children aged 12–24 months through structured routines, caring interactions, and stimulating activities. Join a professional, supportive team dedicated to high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe classroom, adhering to health and safety standards, and communicating with families to support child development and consistent routines.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years experience with toddlers (12–24 months preferred).
• DCF 45 hours required or preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification desirable.
• CDA or ECE coursework or willingness to obtain.

• Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Maintain active supervision and ratio compliance at all times.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Implement the LEAP curriculum and daily routines.

Community: We are located at the cross streets of Palm Parkway and Darryl Carter (Dr, Phillips and surrounding areas ideal for commuting) *Kissimmee may be too far.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00/hour (Based on Credentials & Experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday (This is a full-time position)

Up to $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

• $500 paid after 45 days of employment
• $500 paid after 90 days of employment

Bonus Eligibility Requirements

• Maintain reliable attendance (no excessive call-outs or tardiness)
• Meet performance and classroom quality standards
• Remain in good standing with no disciplinary action

As a Toddler Teacher, you will work with children ages 12–24 months, supporting their development through structured routines, nurturing care, and engaging learning experiences. This role requires strong classroom management, consistency, and teamwork to maintain a safe and positive environment for children and staff.

• Communicate professionally with families and team members

• Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years experience working with toddlers (12–24 months preferred)
• Florida DCF 45 Hours, Staff Credential Preferred
• CPR/1st Aid Qualified
• CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or willingness to obtain
• Strong understanding of health & safety standards
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and actively engage with children
• Reliable attendance and punctuality (non-negotiable)

• CPR/First Aid (current or completed upon hire)
• Ability to meet state licensing requirements
