Job summary

Kinder Prep Montessori in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is seeking a caring, experienced teacher to nurture children aged 12–18 months in a Montessori setting. This full‑time, Monday–Friday role offers a supportive team environment with real growth opportunities. Compensation includes $25/hour, a $1,000 annual bonus, and 4 weeks of paid time off plus holidays. Requirements: high school diploma with 5 years of toddler experience, or 12 credits toward an Associate’s in ECE with 2 years of relevant work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma AND 5 years experience working with toddlers (ages 1-2 years)
• OR 12 credits towards Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education AND 2 years minimum experience with this age group in a childcare setting
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
• Organized, responsible, and passionate about early childhood education
• Professional, polite communication with parents
• Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate, engaging activities
• Preferred: Degree in Early Childhood Education (any country), or currently enrolled in an ECE program
• CDA certificate
