Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc is seeking a nurturing Toddler Teacher to support children aged 1 to 3 with developmentally appropriate activities. You will design interactive lesson plans, foster independence, and build a nurturing classroom that emphasizes safety and positive relationships with families.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience in licensed childcare, CPR/First Aid, and a HS diploma; CDA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to create a cohesive and engaging learning environment.
• Supervise toddlers during play, meals, naptime, and transitions, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards at all times.
• Attend required training sessions, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Prefer Minimum of 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is a plus.
• Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, energetic, and able to adapt to the dynamic needs of young children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
