Job summary

The Guild of St. Agnes, the largest early education and care agency in Central MA, is seeking an EEC certified Toddler Teacher at our University Collaborative location on Mill St.

You will shape the classroom environment by leading, coordinating, and making decisions to maintain a quality program. Candidates should have completed Child Growth and Development coursework and at least 9 months of experience with toddlers or preschoolers.

Qualifications

• EEC certification required.
• Minimum 9 months experience with toddler/preschool children.
• Experience in leading and coordinating classroom activities to develop a quality program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Support Lead Teacher in creating an enriching learning environment.
• Participate in classroom decision-making for the children's best interests.

HOURS: M-F 8 hour shift with a 45 minute paid break

We are currently seeking an EEC certified Toddler Teacher at our University Collaborative location on Mill St. This individual will shape the classroom environment within agency guidelines by leading, coordinating, and making decisions to develop and maintain a quality early childhood program. This candidate will have taken Child Growth and Development at the College level and have a minimum of 9 months experience working with toddler or preschool children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs as individuals and as a group
• Supporting the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing an exciting and enriching learning environment for children
• Share in the classroom decision‑making, finding a mutually agreeable plan that is best for the children
