Job summary

The Guild of St. Agnes in Webster, MA is seeking an EEC-certified Preschool Teacher to lead and develop a quality early childhood program within agency guidelines.

The role requires coursework in Child Growth and Development and a minimum of 9 months’ experience with toddlers or preschoolers. Work Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts with a 45-minute paid break; you will support the Lead Teacher and help create an enriching learning environment.

Qualifications

• EEC certification required for preschool teachers.
• College coursework in Child Growth and Development.
• Minimum 9 months experience with toddlers or preschool children.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday.

We are currently seeking an EEC certified Preschool Teacher at our Webster location. This individual will shape the classroom environment within agency guidelines by leading, coordinating, and making decisions to develop and maintain a quality early childhood program. This candidate will have taken Child Growth and Development at the College level and have a minimum of 9 months experience working with toddler or preschool children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs as individuals and as a group


• Supporting the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing an exciting and enriching learning environment for children


• Share in the classroom decision‑making, finding a mutually agreeable plan that is best for the children
