Job summary

The Guild of St. Agnes is seeking an EEC certified Preschool Teacher for the Worcester, MA area at the Salem Covenant location.

The teacher will lead and coordinate activities to develop a quality early childhood program and ensure safety and well-being of children. Candidates should have taken Child Growth and Development at the college level and have at least 9 months of experience with infants, toddlers, or preschool children; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 months of experience with infant, toddler or preschool children.
• College-level study in Child Growth and Development.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
• Support the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing an exciting and enriching learning environment for children.
• Share in the classroom decision-making, finding a mutually agreeable plan that is best for the children.

HOURS: M-F 8 hour shift with a 45 minute paid break

We are currently seeking an EEC certified Preschool Teacher at our Salem Covenant location in Worcester, MA. This individual will shape the classroom environment within agency guidelines by leading, coordinating, and making decisions to develop and maintain a quality early childhood program. This candidate will have taken Child Growth and Development at the College level and have a minimum of 9 months experience working with infant, toddler or preschool children.

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs as individuals and as a group
• Supporting the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing an exciting and enriching learning environment for children
