Job summary

The Learning Experience in Canton, OH is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our brand new building. You will create a welcoming, engaging classroom for children ages 1–3 and help them learn, play, and grow.

This role requires at least one year of professional teaching/daycare experience and an associate degree or higher in early childhood education (or a high school diploma/GED with relevant experience).

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for the education and care of children.
• At least 1 year of professional teaching/daycare experience.
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field, or a HS diploma/GED with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement our L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers according to each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s adventures and progress.
• Partner with daycare staff to support enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a collaborative learning atmosphere.

As an Experienced Toddler Teacher, you will:

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.

• Partner with the daycare center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals to support your center's success.
