Job summary

Busy Bees is hiring a Lead Teacher to work alongside fellow educators and families to provide a home-away-from-home for children, following NAC guidelines. You will help implement developmentally appropriate curricula according to AZ Early Learning Standards and tailor activities to each child’s interests and learning styles.

You will foster a warm, safe learning environment, communicate with families, and partner on plans to provide the best care and education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAC standards and AZ Early Learning Standards.
• Curate programs based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, clean environment for growth and exploration.
• Partner with families to plan for best care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.
