Orange East Supervisory Union Valley Cooperative Preschool in Bradford, Vermont is seeking a dedicated Toddler Educator for a full-time, 40-hour week position. Immediate start; work with toddlers in a nurturing, play-based program.

Position Title: Toddler Educator

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday

Start date: Immediately

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Toddler Educator to join our early childhood education program. This is a full-time position working with toddlers in a nurturing, play-based learning environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision for toddlers
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning, and developmental activities
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and other personal care routines
• Support children during meals and snacks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and activities
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Complete light cleaning and sanitizing duties as needed
• Design and implement curriculum and classroom goals

Preferred Qualifications

• High school graduate
• Two or more years of experience working with children from birth through grade 3
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, patient, and nurturing demeanor

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check and fingerprint check upon hire
• Ability to meet all state childcare licensing requirements
• Northern Lights Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate, or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
