Job summary

Hutcherson Family YMCA seeks a CDC Floater/Teacher to support infants and toddlers birth through age 3. You will float between classrooms, creating a safe, nurturing environment and building strong relationships with families and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma, CDA, 21+ years old, and CPR/First Aid. Experience with young children and English proficiency are essential; health guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and CDA required.
• 21 years of age with experience with birth-3 years.
• Strong English in speaking and writing.
• CPR/First Aid and O2 certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience managing groups of young children.
• Adhere to Health Department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Arrange classroom learning centers and rotate toys.
• Maintain positive relations with families and staff.
• Greet parents by name at arrival and departure.
• Document concerns and report to Director as needed.
• Supervise activities and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Follow YMCA guidelines for discipline and emergencies.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
