Job summary

Paragon Prep is seeking a Toddler Teacher for the 12–24 month age group to create a safe, nurturing classroom and lead curriculum implementation on a daily basis.

You will observe and document children's growth, support social-emotional development, and maintain compliance with licensing. This role requires in-person work at the school campus and collaboration with the teaching team and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with toddlers in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is required.
• Knowledge of toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices for ages 12–24 months.
• Strong classroom management, organization, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, engaging learning experiences.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s growth and milestones.
• Maintain health, safety, and supervision at all times.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers, families, and school leadership to support each child’s success.
• Support daily care routines including toileting, meals, and naps.
