Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
• CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education is a plus but not required.
• At least one year of child care experience in a licensed program.
• Experience with children 1–3 years old.
• Background check (BCI/FBI) required.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher with duties as needed.
• Assist in designing age-appropriate curriculum for 1–3 year olds.
• Observe child development and communicate progress to families.
• Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment adhering to licensing standards.
• Collaborate with staff to plan daily activities and routines.
• Communicate regularly with families about their child’s progress.
