Tiny Town Early Learning Centers is hiring an Assistant Toddler Teacher to support our toddler classrooms. You will help create a warm, structured, and developmentally supportive environment, working closely with the lead teacher to implement activities and routines.

We value caring, dependable team members who communicate well with families and maintain a safe, organized classroom. Prior childcare experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of toddler development, behavior, and age-appropriate expectations.
• Ability to stay calm, patient, and consistent in a busy, high-energy classroom.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to follow classroom systems.
• Reliable attendance, time management, and communication.
• Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Experience in childcare or early education preferred, but not required.
• Flexibility and a positive, upbeat attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with daily routines, transitions, and classroom management.
• Support toddlers in developing independence, communication, and self‑help skills.
• Model and encourage positive social‑emotional behaviors.
• Help implement age‑appropriate activities that promote exploration and learning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate professionally with families and team members.
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines.
• Observe and support individual child needs under the guidance of the lead teacher.
