Tiny Town Childcare & Learning Center in Kent and Painesville is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to support a classroom of active toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years. You will foster independence, language development, social-emotional growth through hands-on activities, structured routines, and nurturing interactions.

Experience in early childhood is preferred; candidates must meet state licensing requirements for toddler teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience working with toddlers or preschool-age children preferred.
• Ability to meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks and trainings.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for toddlers, including sensory play and language development.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and orderly classroom environment.
• Support children’s social-emotional growth through positive guidance and modeling.
• Help toddlers build independence through routines and self-help skills.
• Communicate professionally with families about daily activities and progress.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and daily routines.
• Collaborate with coworkers and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.
