Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, seeks an entry-level data/modeling analyst to prepare inputs and assist modelers in simulations. You will analyze throughput, queue behavior, and resource use, identifying constraints that affect production flows.

You will document sources and maintain traceability in a collaborative environment. Expect to work with Excel, structured datasets, and common data tools; a STEM degree with coursework in analysis methods is preferred.

Qualifications

• STEM degree required with minimal prior experience.
• coursework/analysis experience using optimization, simulation or process modeling.
• Experience with structured datasets and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load structured model inputs (Excel and database datasets).
• Assist modelers in running simulations to analyze throughput and resource use.
• Identify constraints and assess impact on production flows.
• Data prep, cleansing, and validation of parameters.
• Document data sources and changes for traceability.
• Contribute to sensitivity analyses and parameter sweeps.
• Create plots/tables from outputs for internal reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret findings.
• Update models as conditions evolve.
