Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM is typically required, with 5+ years' relevant experience.
• Experience in DES and multi-product systems.
• Experience with data tools and structured datasets.
• Ability to interpret queueing dynamics and bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite TOC modeling activities in Tucson, coordinating daily modeling tasks and data updates.
• Develop, modify, and validate discrete event simulation models and customize logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define model boundaries and validate assumptions.
• Analyze and communicate system constraints, throughput impacts, and supply-demand interactions.
• Design and execute advanced experiments, scenario sweeps, and sensitivity analyses.
• Create and maintain model documentation, logs, and data reduction workflows.
• Present simulation outputs to leadership with clear technical explanations.
• Mentor modelers to grow TOC and DES expertise.
