Job summary

The Tobacco Prevention and Control Program Internship in Salt Lake City offers hands-on exposure to state-level public health work. You will support data analysis, reporting, and policy research across key priorities, with a six-month commitment and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
• Recent graduates (within 1 year) are also eligible to apply.
• Basic understanding of Public Health principles and Health Equity.

Responsibilities

• Work with public health data and new research tools to explore trends on social media using AI, build reports, and design templates.
• Support youth tobacco prevention by helping design, execute, and assess campaigns and educational materials.
• Contribute to policy research and evidence-based strategies addressing tobacco use and exposure.
