The Big Biscuit in Raymore, MO is seeking a friendly, efficient team member for fast-paced daytime shifts. Hours run from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with weekends and holidays busiest.

This role is great for part-time work or a second job, focusing on welcoming guests and delivering prompt service for to-go orders. You will take orders, manage various channels, package meals, verify accuracy, coordinate with kitchen, handle payments, and maintain a clean front-of-house while ensuring a positive guest

Responsibilities

• Greet to-go guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Answer phones, take accurate orders, and confirm modifications.
• Manage online, call-in, and third-party orders as applicable.
• Package food to Big Biscuit standards with accuracy and presentation.
• Verify items, sides, condiments, and utensils before handing off orders.
• Communicate with expo and kitchen for smooth order flow.
• Process payments, receipts, and manage to-go staging areas.
• Assist with curbside pickup and delivering orders to vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of the to-go station, lobby, and packaging areas.
• Provide positive interactions with guests picking up orders.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Greet to‑go guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service
• Answer phones, take accurate orders, and confirm modifications or special requests
• Manage online, call‑in, and third‑party orders (if applicable)
• Package food according to Big Biscuit standards, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper presentation
• Verify all items, sides, condiments, and utensils are included before handing off orders
• Communicate clearly with expo and kitchen staff to maintain smooth order flow
• Process payments, handle receipts, and manage to‑go order staging areas
• Assist with curbside pickup, delivering orders to vehicles when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the to‑go station, lobby, and packaging areas
• Provide helpful, positive interactions with guests picking up orders
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

Physical & Lifting Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift (typically 4–8 hours)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (bags, trays, packaging supplies)
• Frequent bending, reaching, and moving through a busy front‑of‑house area
• Ability to safely carry multiple bags and navigate tight spaces

Work Environment

• High‑volume breakfast and lunch service
• Frequent interaction with guests picking up orders, delivery drivers, and kitchen staff
• Requires strong teamwork, communication, and a guest‑first mindset

Pay rate: $15 - $17 per hour PLUS tips
