Job summary

Big Biscuit is seeking a friendly server for daytime shifts in Liberty, MO. The role focuses on breakfast and lunch service with a fast-paced yet welcoming environment.

Hours run from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, making it ideal for part-time work. Compensation starts at $7.50 per hour plus tips, with weekends and holidays busiest. Training and teamwork are emphasized in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience is preferred, especially in a high-volume environment.
• Good communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests promptly and providing friendly, attentive service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver food quickly and ensure quality and presentation meet standards.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address needs.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, specials, and modifications.
• Handle payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Keep dining area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist teammates by running food and refilling drinks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Greeting guests promptly and providing friendly, attentive service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
• Deliver food quickly and ensure all items meet Big Biscuit quality and presentation standards
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and modifications
• Handle payments accurately and follow all cash-handling procedures
• Keep tables, service stations, and the dining room clean, stocked, and organized
• Assist teammates by running food, refilling drinks, and helping reset tables
• Communicate clearly with hosts, bussers, cooks, and managers to support smooth service flow
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Provide a positive, guest-first experience from start to finish

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Prior serving experience preferred, especially in a high-volume environment (not required)

Physical & Lifting Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift (typically 4-8 hours)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (trays, plates, beverage pitchers)
• Frequent bending, reaching, and moving through a crowded dining room
• Ability to safely carry multiple plates and navigate tight spaces

Pay Rate:

$7.50 per hour PLUS tips
