Job summary

Ramen Tatsu-Ya Slaughter in Austin is seeking a To-Go Specialist to ensure every pickup and third-party order meets Tatsu-Ya standards. You will be the final quality check between kitchen and guest, confirming accuracy, organization, and proper packing.

You’ll greet guests, verify details, supervise packing of ramen, sides, utensils, and drinks, and coordinate with BOH and FOH to manage flow and wait times.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Valid Food Handlers certification (TABC only if required by location)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move efficiently throughout the restaurant

Responsibilities

• Greet pickup guests promptly, verify order details, and provide a friendly, efficient handoff
• Ensure all to-go items—including ramen, sides, bombs, garnishes, utensils, and drinks—are packed correctly and completely
• Perform final quality checks on every order, including broth levels, packaging integrity, labeling, and presentation
• Coordinate closely with BOH and FOH teams to manage ticket flow, rush orders, and accurate wait times
• Maintain an organized and clearly labeled to-go staging area and pickup shelf
• Monitor and restock to-go supplies such as bowls, bags, stickers, utensils, ramekins, and labels
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including tablet setup, station organization, and cleaning
• Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols
• Work with urgency and purpose to support high-volume service while maintaining accuracy and hospitality
