Job summary

True Food Kitchen in Austin, TX, seeks team members for to-go service. You will take orders via phone and in person, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure accuracy from call to pickup. Delivery coordination is included, with fast-paced, friendly work and tip potential.

We offer part-time roles up to 40 hours per person, with shifts AM/PM and mid-day. This position includes health care options, pet insurance, EAP, dining discounts, volunteer time, and access to True Giving funds.

Qualifications

• Hospitality-focused approach with energy and strong guest service.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in order handling.
• Clear communication and organized workflow in fast-paced environments.
• Restaurant experience is a plus and helpful for this role.

Responsibilities

• Take and ring in accurate orders (phone & in person).
• Double-check every detail before the order goes out.
• Handle payments and organize the to-go station.
• Manage third-party delivery hand-offs smoothly.
• Manage and monitor KDS system.
• Oversee catering orders from preparation through packaging.
