Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a customer-service oriented associate to deliver fast, friendly help at the front end and assist with To-Go orders. You will engage customers, scan and bag items, and ensure ID checks for alcoholic beverages while upholding store standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability and learning multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements, when applicable, to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to customers while maintaining standards.
• Exhibit behaviors aligned with Food Lion's values and strategy.
• Assist customers picking up orders and help with To-Go area tasks.
• Scan, bag and label purchases accurately following policies.
• Verify IDs for alcohol purchases and observe store policies.
• Complete CBT training and perform other duties as assigned.
