Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a friendly team member to provide fast, flexible, and courteous service. You will engage customers, assist with Go-To and pickup orders, and help maintain store standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will be part of a team that values safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Training will include CBT courses and store procedures to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements, when applicable, to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers, provide prompt, accurate and friendly service.
• Assist customers choosing items and filling online order pickups.
• Operate point-of-sale scanning, bagging and labeling.
• Verify customer IDs for alcoholic beverage purchases.
• Maintain clean, organized To-Go area and assist with training tasks.
• Follow Food Lion dress code and safety guidelines.
• Complete required CBT and Training Aid courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
