Job summary

Food Lion is seeking staff to provide fast, friendly service at the front end and To-Go area. You will help ensure customer satisfaction, process orders, and maintain accurate standards in line with company guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, verifying IDs for age-restricted items, and participating in inventory and safety procedures. Training will be provided; a team-oriented mindset is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, accurate, friendly service.
• Align with Food Lion principles and values.
• Shop and assemble customer orders using designated tools.
• Identify produce varieties and assist substitutions.
• Scan, bag, label purchases per policy.
• Verify IDs and abide by alcohol sale rules.
• Assist customers picking up orders.
• Complete accountability forms and follow procedures.
• Maintain a neat appearance and Food Lion uniform.
