Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a dedicated associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the front end and in the To-Go area. You will greet customers, help with order pickups, and ensure accurate scanning, bagging and labeling while upholding store policies and safety standards.

You will work as part of a team, learning multiple tasks and becoming proficient with the store's CBT and training materials. A high school diploma is preferred and punctual, reliable performance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements, when applicable, to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to customers through the achievement of Food Lion customer service standards.
• Assist customers with picking up orders and ensure accuracy in scanning, bagging, and labeling purchases.
• Exhibit behaviors aligned with Food Lion's guiding principles and values.
• Support the To-Go Lead in maintaining standards according to the manual and policies.
• Maintain a neat appearance in Food Lion uniform and adhere to dress code.
