Job summary

Food Lion in Charlotte, NC is seeking a customer-facing associate to provide fast, friendly service and support the To-Go lead. You will help greet customers, handle orders, and ensure accurate scanning and bagging of purchases.

Responsibilities include assisting with order pickups, verifying IDs for alcoholic beverages, and maintaining a clean, compliant store environment. Prioritize safety and teamwork in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service.

• Assist with shopping multiple customer orders using designated tools.
• Recognize produce varieties and substitutions as needed.
• Scan, bag, and label purchases accurately following policies.
• Verify IDs for alcohol sales and assist customers picking up orders.
• Complete Accountability Form and maintain a courteous demeanor.
• Adhere to dress code and maintain clean appearance on duty.
• Notify QA of any cleaning issues or maintenance needs in To-Go area.
