Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced TPD Area Principal to lead program and project delivery for major transportation initiatives. The role focuses on directing the project lifecycle, developing new client opportunities, and ensuring delivery aligns with corporate standards.

You will guide cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to expanding services across TN. A PE license in TN or the ability to obtain it within six months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer in TN or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 15 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management.
• Proven record of leading and managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with experience in client-facing roles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Alternative Delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of transportation programs and projects.
• Oversee the preparation of scope, schedule, and budgets for projects.
• Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Interface with clients and lead BD efforts to win projects.
• Ensure specifications, reports and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Mentor subordinate staff and participate in long-range planning.
