Job summary

Atlas seeks a Transportation Infrastructure Engineering Leader to expand its presence in Tennessee. The Sector Leader will drive growth, oversee budgets and projects, manage staff, and foster client relationships, with focus on TDOT projects and regional expansion.

Candidates should have a B.S. in Engineering (M.S. preferred), 20+ years in transportation (planning, environmental, design, construction), and a PE license preferred. Travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and professional licensure highly valued.
• Extensive leadership experience in transportation infrastructure or related sectors.
• Experience growing and managing a regional practice and client base.
• Strong financial, budgeting and performance management skills.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional growth strategy and sector goals.
• Lead client management, networking and outreach activities.
• Coordinate sales and marketing with cross-sell initiatives.
• Oversee budgets, projects, quality and safety in the sector.
• Provide mentoring and staff development; ensure certifications and licenses.
