Job summary

Clearwave Mental Health in Latham, NY is seeking a TMS Technician to coordinate patient care during Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments. You will educate patients, administer treatments under physician direction, and handle prior authorizations and scheduling.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, maintains meticulous records, and can respond effectively in emergencies. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain procedures to patients.
• Two or more years of related experience in a customer or patient-facing role.
• Health Care Clinical Professional experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to data management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient schedules for TMS treatment.
• Provide support during treatment to patients with depression or anxiety.
• Troubleshoot issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS setup.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and help patients complete scales.
• Answer calls, educate prospective patients, collect payments, verify insurance.
• Schedule patients and follow-up visits.
