Vera French Community Mental Health Center seeks a TMS Technician under supervision of a physician to assist patients receiving Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments, schedule services, and provide education on treatment questions.

The role requires high school diploma, MA certification or equivalent, and experience in mental health or medical management; proficiency with MS Office and basic life support is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eligible candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years or more of mental health and medical management experience.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or completion of a recognized one-year Medical Assistant program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and basic data entry.
• Experience operating a medical/mechanical device and knowledge of basic life support.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate patient flow and scheduling, including reminder calls and coordinating services.
• Assist the psychiatrist with TMS threshold mapping procedures.
• Document patient treatment history, vital signs and allergies/contraindications as needed.
• Operate TMS equipment in accordance with training and established protocols.
