Job summary

New Directions Mental Health, part of Transformations Care Network, seeks an Interventional Psychiatry Support Specialist to assist with TMS and Spravato/Ketamine services. The role emphasizes patient comfort, accurate documentation, and coordination with physicians for safe, effective care.

The ideal candidate has a clinical degree, medical office experience, and a willingness to cover multiple clinics, ensuring high-quality patient care in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a recognized clinical discipline required.
• 1+ year of medical office or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical authorization processes preferred.
• TMS Certification completed during training.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• HIPAA compliance and patient privacy understanding required.
• BCLS certification required or willing to obtain within timeframe.
• Ability to provide coverage for treatments at nearby clinics.

Responsibilities

• Administer Spravato and/or TMS treatments per physician protocols.
• Perform psychiatric rating scales and document outcomes.
• Schedule and manage client appointments.
• Assist with intake, vitals, care coordination, and insurance verification.
• Record client information and superbill notes promptly.
• Provide compassionate support and clear communication to clients.
• Ensure high-quality care while following policies and regulations.
• Troubleshoot treatment setup and equipment for comfort.
• Collaborate with interventional psychiatry vendors for coordination.
• Provide coverage across interventional service sites.
