Job summary

LifeStance Health in New York, NY is seeking a TMS Technician to deliver in-office Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for depression under physician supervision. You will interact with patients, schedule consultations, and help manage insurance and intake paperwork.

You will work with high-tech TMS equipment, maintain a clean, organized clinic, and provide compassionate patient care while coordinating with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
• Two or more years of related healthcare experience.
• BLS and CPR certification required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management software.
• Experience operating a medical/mechanical device.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Demonstrates awareness and inclusivity with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to discuss Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) procedures and schedules.
• Handle TMS-related calls and provide information and assistance.
• Coordinate care and insurance processes, including prior authorizations.
• Schedule initial consultations and coordinate with the TMS provider.
• Maintain clinic prep and workflow for efficient patient experience.
• Travel within the region as needed to cover TMS services.
