LifeStance Health in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking a TMS Technician to provide direct care to patients undergoing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for depression, under physician supervision. You will administer and manage clinical services, coordinate with patients, and handle office tasks, while contributing to a compassionate, diverse team and a patient-centered clinic workflow.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Two or more years of related experience within a healthcare setting.
• BLS and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to discuss Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) procedures, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Handle TMS-related calls from patients, providing comprehensive information and assistance.
• Utilize standard protocols to assess the eligibility of new patients for TMS and schedule the initial consultation with the TMS provider based on the patient's preferred location.
• Contact patients and answer incoming patient calls to schedule appointments and address inquiries related to payment and facilitate payment collections.
• Engage with patients to discuss and resolve outstanding balances, facilitating prompt payments.
• Administrative Support and Appointment Management, including updating insurance information and submitting prior authorizations.
• Ensure all new patient paperwork is completed and uploaded to the chart before scheduled appointments.
• Send and accept patient forms via the EHR and coordinate care with internal and external clinicians.
