Responsibilities

  • Develop water quality implementation control strategies and write TMDLs.
  • Coordinate with Tribes, local governments and watershed groups during development and implementation of TMDL/ARP/STI projects.
  • Monitor progress toward meeting water quality standards and report on results.
  • Represent Ecology at legal hearings and conferences regarding Water Cleanup Plans.
  • Support regional non-point pollution actions and draft enforcement documents.
