The TM Receiver is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy to keep inventory shortages at or below store goals and maximize store sales by receiving and shipping freight within a timely manner. The TM Receiver interacts with customers and Team Members, supports selling initiatives, and performs assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. They also promote a safe and productive work environment, adhering to Tractor Supply Company safety training and guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

Availability, flexibility, adaptability, and service orientation are essential. You must be able to fulfill the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
• Perform duties such as processing inbound/outbound freight, maintaining inventory, merchandise recovery, participating in freight processes, keeping work areas clean and organized, operating cash register, assembling merchandise, operating equipment like forklift and baler, and ensuring the safety of poultry and documentation completion.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in shipping/receiving preferred but not required. Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is a plus. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor work with moderate noise; outdoor work in adverse weather possible.
• Shifts vary, generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Work involves hard surfaces and outdoor lots, with adequate lighting and temperature.

Physical Requirements

• Non-sedentary role requiring physical stamina to move throughout the store and outdoors.
• Tasks include operating equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, kneeling, climbing, and working in various environments.
